Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
Plain-language terms for putting an Estelo agent to work in your business: what it does in your name, how minutes are billed, and what stays your responsibility.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Estelo (“Estelo”, “we”, “us”), operated by Estelo LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, including our website, our desktop and mobile applications, and the AI agents we run on your behalf (together, the “Service”). By accepting an invitation, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the business you represent, and you confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and forms part of these Terms.
2. The Service
Estelo provides AI agents that take over defined work for your business: answering and placing phone calls, keeping your calendar, filling in forms, sending reminders and follow-ups, handling email, text and chat, and operating the software modules behind them. Agents are set up for a job — for example receptionist, assistant, call center, recruiting, real estate or insurance service — and are trained on your trade, your prices and your tone during onboarding.
The agent works from the configuration, instructions and data you give it. It prepares and proposes; you keep the decisions and the signature. Where a job is regulated, you remain the licensed party. The certifications Estelo intends to obtain, and their current status, are listed on our Certifications page; none is claimed here.
3. Invitation, eligibility and accounts
Estelo is invitation only. Invitations go out starting November 27, 2026; there is no waiting list, and an invitation does not oblige us to open an account. You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for a business, not for personal or household purposes.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for the people you add to your account, and for everything done under it, including what the agent does on your instructions. You agree to give us accurate information about your business and to keep it current.
4. Instructions, approvals and responsibility
The agent acts in your name and on your instructions. Routine, low-cost work runs without asking; anything above the threshold shown on our Pricing page, and every campaign, report, document or import, is presented to you as an estimate and runs only after you approve it. You are responsible for the instructions you give, the approvals you grant, and the rules you set, and for reviewing the agent’s work as you would a new hire’s.
AI output can be wrong. The agent does not give legal, medical, financial or insurance advice, does not set your policies, and does not sign for you. Decisions that need a person — the hiring decision, the disputed claim, the customer who needs an apology — stay yours.
5. Calls, messages and consent
The agent places and answers calls and messages for you, in the caller’s language, and may record, transcribe and summarise them so you can read what was said and the agent can learn your business. The rules on recording, on telling a caller they are speaking with an automated system, on consent, and on outbound calling — including do-not-call lists, calling hours and marketing rules — differ by country and change over time.
You are responsible for knowing which rules apply to your calls and your contacts, for having a lawful basis and any required consent for every number you call and every conversation you record, and for the lists you upload or import. We provide the tools to configure the agent’s greetings, disclosures and recording behaviour; using them lawfully is your obligation. We may suspend calling that we reasonably believe is unlawful, abusive or harmful to the people being called.
6. Metered billing and prepaid balance
There is no subscription. You pay for the minutes the agent speaks and the actions it takes, at the per-minute rate for your country, with the volume discount applied as published on our Pricing page. The phone number and carrier minutes are itemised on your statement as “phone line” at what we pay for them. Unless stated otherwise, rates exclude taxes, which are added where they apply.
Usage is drawn from a prepaid balance that you load and that tops itself up at the amount you set when it runs low. Your balance does not expire while your account is open; bonus credit we add has no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Any free trial gives you a credited starter balance up to the limits shown when the trial starts. Except where required by law, charges for usage already consumed are non-refundable. We will tell you how an unused balance is handled if you close your account.
Rates and discounts may change for future usage; changes are posted on the Pricing page and we give you notice before they take effect in your country. If you believe a statement is wrong, tell us promptly and we will investigate. If an auto top-up fails and your balance reaches zero, the agent pauses until it is funded.
7. Your business data
The data you bring to Estelo and the data the agent produces for you — contacts, calendars, call recordings and transcripts, documents, records and the knowledge base the agent builds about your business — is yours (“Business Data”). You grant us the rights needed to host, process and transmit it to run the Service for you, including sharing it with the service providers named in our Privacy Policy.
What the agent learns about your business stays your business: we do not use your Business Data to build agents for other customers. You can export your Business Data while your account is open and for a period after it closes, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the Business Data you give us and for the notices your own customers, callers and staff receive about it.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law or infringe a third party’s rights;
- call, message or record people without a lawful basis, or in breach of do-not-call, telemarketing, recording or consent rules that apply to you;
- deceive, harass, threaten or defraud anyone, or impersonate a person or business;
- send spam or robocalls, or use lists you did not lawfully obtain;
- reverse engineer, resell or sublicense the Service, or attempt to bypass its security, metering or usage controls;
- build a competing product from the Service, or probe, overload or disrupt our systems; or
- violate the terms of a third-party service — a carrier, a calendar, a CRM or any other tool — that the agent connects to for you.
9. Third-party services and connected tools
The agent connects to tools you authorise — your calendar, email, CRM, booking system, payment and accounting software — and relies on telephone carriers, AI model providers and hosting providers to operate. Your use of any third-party tool is governed by that tool’s own terms, and you are responsible for having the right to connect it. Estelo is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the providers of those tools or models; product names and logos belong to their owners. We are not responsible for outages, changes or data loss in third-party services, though we will help you work around them where we reasonably can.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, agents, models, design and content (other than your Business Data), is owned by Estelo and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your business under these Terms. Suggestions you give us about the Service may be used without obligation to you. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the agent will reach a particular outcome — a booking, a sale, a hire, a resolved claim — or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Workload, cost and time-saved figures on our website are estimates and vary with your business. Telephone networks are outside our control, and a call may fail or drop for reasons that have nothing to do with the agent.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Estelo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, customers or data, arising from the Service or from anything the agent did or did not do on your instructions. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for usage in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Your responsibility for claims
You will defend and compensate Estelo against claims, fines and costs brought by a third party or a regulator that arise from your Business Data, your calling lists, the instructions and approvals you gave the agent, your breach of these Terms, or your breach of the calling, recording, consent or data-protection rules that apply to your business.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if your balance stays unfunded, if a law or a carrier requires it, or to protect the Service, its users and the people the agent calls. On closure the agent stops working for you, we tell you how your unused balance is handled, and your Business Data is exported or deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
15. Onboarding agreements and partners
If you sign an onboarding agreement or order with us, or you reach Estelo through a partner who holds your account, that signed document governs where it conflicts with these Terms. These Terms otherwise apply in full. We may assign these Terms to a successor of the business; you may not assign them without our consent.
16. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms. For material changes to the Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date and give you reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not, close your account before they take effect.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, except where the law of your country gives you a right to another forum that cannot be waived.
